ASCRS Job Fest, April 5, 2008

ASCRS' annual Spring Job Fest, an event dedicated to connecting hiring ophthalmologists with prospective physician employees, will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2008 in Chicago, IL.

Job Fest provides an informal, relaxed atmosphere in which attendees can network with and interview prospective employers and employees.

Job Seekers: ASCRS/ASOA will provide a one time $200 rebate towards housing accommodations, as well as complimentary registration (at the early-bird resident/fellow rate) for the 2008 Annual Symposium and Congress for all registered Job Seekers. That is a $285 savings on this unique learning, networking, and job-seeking opportunity. To be eligible for the rebate, Job-seeking registrants must attend Job Fest, and have visited with a minimum of 3 hiring practices (completing the Job Fest voucher) to benefit from this offer. Rebate will be mailed after the meeting.

Hiring Practices: The fee for each practice is $325 (ASCRS/ASOA Members), which permits 2 MDs per practice or an MD/Administrator combination to attend and network with prospective employees. Each registered hiring practice will be provided a table in an area of the reception room where they can sit and informally conduct mini-interviews.

Note - All Job Fest registrants must also be registered for the ASCRS/ASOA Symposium and Congress
